Shocking Video Released of 77-Year-Old Woman Killed in Police Shooting!

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Police Department has released dashcam footage capturing a violent incident involving a 77-year-old woman, Annette Prince, who was fatally shot by police following an auto-pedestrian collision and subsequent standoff.

The footage, which was made public on November 5, provides new insight into the events that transpired on October 10 near NW 122nd Street and N MacArthur Boulevard.

The incident began with Prince as a passenger in a vehicle driven by a woman she knew. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD), for reasons yet to be determined, Prince fired two shots at the driver.

The wounded driver managed to escape from the car to seek help. Prince then reportedly moved into the driver’s seat, turned the vehicle around, and drove over the fleeing victim.

When officers arrived on the scene around 10:30 p.m., they found Prince still in the vehicle and armed with a gun. Police say Prince refused to comply with their commands to drop the weapon. Instead, she reportedly began firing shots into the ground.

In a statement to the press, OKCPD Capt. Valerie Littlejohn described the escalating situation: “After the collision, that suspect had a firearm and was shooting off rounds from that firearm.”

Officers attempted to de-escalate the confrontation using non-lethal methods, but their efforts were unsuccessful as Prince continued to refuse police orders to disarm.

According to the OKCPD, Prince eventually exited the vehicle and allegedly pointed her gun at the responding officers. In response, officers fired at Prince, resulting in her death at the scene.

The Oklahoma City Police Department noted that the victim who was both shot and run over by Prince is currently recovering from her injuries. No other individuals were reported injured during the incident.
