Tragic Discovery: Man Found Dead Near I-280 Encampment in San Jose!
A man was discovered dead near Interstate Highway 280 in San Jose late Tuesday night, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Officers received a call about a body near the I-280 area close to the connection with Interstate Highway 880 around 11:05 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who appeared to be unhoused in an encampment next to the freeway.
According to the source, CHP San Jose Officer Ross Lee confirmed the man’s death and mentioned that there were no visible signs indicating he had been in a car accident.
Additionally, there were no signs of foul play at the scene, leading authorities to believe the death may not be suspicious.
