Tragic Head-On Collision: Woman Dies in Southeast Crash with Box Truck!

The driver of the Honda, 82-year-old Anna Catullo from Shrewsbury, Worcester County, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed her death following the crash.
The driver of the Isuzu truck, 45-year-old Xavier Quindetenempaguy from Carmel, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was quickly transported by Empress Ambulance to Danbury Hospital for treatment.
In the wake of the crash, John Simpson Road was closed between Root Avenue and Route 6 while authorities investigated. The road was reopened at 11:50 a.m. that same day.
