A woman from Orlando recently won a huge prize after playing a scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery announced. Frieda Reyes Ortiz hit it big, claiming a $1 million prize from the $20 Gold Rush Limited scratch-off ticket.
Instead of taking her winnings over time, Ortiz chose to take a one-time lump sum of $795,000.
She bought her winning ticket at a Circle K located on Forest City Road in Orlando. As a bonus for selling the lucky ticket, the store was rewarded with a $2,000 commission.
