BODY DISCOVERED in Sacramento County Earlier This Year Confirmed as Stockton MAN MISSING SINCE 1994

A body discovered in Sacramento County earlier this year was identified this week as that of a Stockton man who went missing in 1994, according to Stockton police.

Arnel Nagal Narvaiz was 36 when he was last seen on July 1, 1994.

Police claimed he was headed for work on a property off Twin Cities Road in Sacramento County, but neither he nor his car were found.

In April of this year, the Stockton Police Department reported the discovery of a vehicle with remains inside, which they suspected was Narvaiz.

However, DNA testing was required to identify the remains positively.

According to a representative for the Stockton Police Department, an autopsy confirmed that the corpse was Narvaiz’s.

Adventures With Purpose, a professional group of scuba divers who search for missing persons and their automobiles in water, shared a live video on YouTube in April after discovering the vehicle.

In the video, the gang stated that they were looking for an Elk Grove guy when they discovered a beige 1988 Toyota Cressida with the same license plate number as Narvaiz’s vehicle in a slough 31 feet submerged.

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, Narvaiz was driving a car with the same license plate and description as the one discovered by divers.

The Stockton Police Department stated that officers notified the Narvaiz family of the body’s discovery.

According to police, the initial inquiry revealed no evidence of foul play.

More details on how Narvaiz became submerged in water inside his vehicle were not given.
