Health Risks of Listeria Monocytogenes:
Listeria monocytogenes can cause listeriosis, a disease that can result in severe illness. While most people recover fully, listeriosis can cause fever, muscle aches, and gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea or diarrhea. In severe cases, it can lead to more serious health issues such as meningitis or septicemia.
Precautions and Recommendations:
If you have any of the recalled products at home, it is important to dispose of them immediately. Do not consume the products or return them to the store. For those who believe they might have consumed any of these products and are experiencing symptoms of listeriosis, it is crucial to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
