A popular Silicon Valley breakfast spot, Hobee’s Restaurant, is expanding its reach by opening its fourth location in Downtown San Jose.
Known for its claim of serving the “best darn breakfast,” Hobee’s has become a beloved destination for morning meals in the region.
The restaurant, which first opened its doors in Mountain View in 1974, remains family-owned and currently operates in Belmont, Palo Alto, and Sunnyvale. Now, it’s bringing its well-known breakfast charm to a new neighborhood.
Hobee’s announced the opening of its San Jose location on Instagram, sharing their excitement with fans. “The wait is almost over! Our soft opening is set for November 16th, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this behind-the-scenes look,” the post read.
The message was accompanied by glimpses of the new location and introductions to some of the staff who will serve customers.
The restaurant’s soft launch will take place on Saturday, November 16th, with operating hours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fans of Hobee’s will have the opportunity to experience the new spot and enjoy a sneak peek before the official grand opening.
One of the eatery’s signature offerings is its “world-famous” blueberry coffeecake, a must-try item topped with a warm, crumbly streusel topping.
Frequently featured on social media, the coffeecake is a highlight of Hobee’s menu and a crowd favorite.
The new Downtown San Jose location, situated at 261 N. Second St., adds to the restaurant’s growing presence in the South Bay.
