Oakland WOMAN KILLED IN DAYLIGHT SHOOTING on Hilton Street; 55th Murder of the Year
OAKLAND, Calif. – Wednesday afternoon in Oakland, there was a shooting that took place during the daytime hours, and it resulted in the death of one individual.
The 5600 block of Hilton Street, close to Bancroft Avenue, was the location where shots were fired at approximately 2:30 p.m. A woman was discovered at the location with a gunshot wound, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The East Bay Times stated that the victim was a woman.
The news agency also reports that the shooting is the 55th homicide that occurred in Oakland in the year 2024.
The Oakland Police Department has arrived at the location and is conducting an investigation.
