A woman is currently in police custody after reportedly stabbing her boyfriend in the Arlington Heights area of Los Angeles.
The incident occurred early Tuesday morning, with Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers responding to the scene near Washington Boulevard and 5th Avenue around 2:45 a.m.
Reports of an assault with a deadly weapon brought officers to the location, where they found a man with stab wounds to his upper body.

Shortly after, a woman was observed being taken into custody on the sidewalk near the car where the injured man was found. Although authorities have not yet released the woman’s identity, it was confirmed that she and the victim were in a relationship.
Around 7:30 a.m., LAPD shared an update with KTLA, noting that while the woman is still in custody, she has not been formally arrested yet.
