Fentanyl Seizure: 2.5 Pounds of Drugs Found During Siskiyou County Stop!

A man from San Jose was arrested after authorities discovered a large amount of fentanyl during a traffic stop in Siskiyou County, California. The incident took place on November 17 when a deputy from the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a vehicle for violating traffic laws.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 22-year-old Jose Cruz Mijangos, who told the deputy he had rented the car in Los Angeles and was heading north to visit a friend in Eugene, Oregon.

During the stop, the deputy searched the vehicle and noticed something unusual in the seating compartment. Upon further inspection, the deputy found a 2.5-pound brick of fentanyl.
