In Maryland, a woman has been found guilty on all charges, including first-degree murder, in the tragic death of her 71-year-old mother. This case, marked by distressing details of dismemberment, has deeply affected people in the community.
Prosecutors revealed that the woman, identified as Margaret Craig, was providing financial support through her Social Security and pension to her adult children and her daughter’s boyfriend. Tragically, she was killed in her own home.

In Washington, D.C., the family of a well-known DJ is asking for the public’s help after he was attacked and robbed. Prince William County Police announced Monday that the February death of a 23-year-old woman, Egypt Zipporah Carter, was part of a murder-for-hire scheme. She was shot and killed in her car in a quiet neighborhood in Woodbridge around 2 a.m. Investigators reported that two men, whom Carter did not know, were paid to carry out the act.
One suspect, Drew Buchanan, 27, was arrested on Oct. 15 and faces charges of second-degree murder, firing into an occupied vehicle, and using a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is currently being held without bond.
