Shocking Bronx Incident: 2 Women Punched, Robbed of Groceries by Suspect!
Police have released surveillance footage of a man wanted for attacking and robbing two women in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. when the two victims, a 22-year-old woman and an 18-year-old girl, were involved in a verbal argument with the suspect in front of 3010 Jerome Avenue in Bedford Park.
According to authorities, the suspect became enraged during the argument and punched both women in the face with a closed fist. After the attack, he took their bags of groceries and fled the scene in an unknown grey sedan heading north on Jerome Avenue.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) rushed the victims to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where they were treated for minor facial injuries.
The suspect was last seen wearing a blue Yankee hat, a blue jacket, blue jeans, and white and black sneakers. Authorities are still searching for him and ask anyone with information to come forward.
