A tragic incident in Lexington Park, Maryland, led to the arrest of a 50-year-old woman following a heated argument that ended in violence.

Simone Stewart, from Lexington Park, has been charged with multiple crimes, including second-degree murder, homicide by vehicle, first-degree assault, and driving under the influence.

According to Maryland State Police, Stewart allegedly droves a Chevy Suburban while under the influence and hit her partner, 53-year-old Demeatra Scarborough, during a confrontation.
