A 5-Month-old baby at a Stanford campus apartment stops breathing and passes away

On Monday afternoon, it was reported that a newborn had passed away, despite the fact that authorities had attempted to revive the kid earlier that morning on the campus of Stanford University.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Stanford University Department of Public Safety at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Monday that a five-month-old newborn was not breathing at an apartment along Barnes Court on the campus of the university, according to officials from the sheriff’s office.

As soon as they arrived, emergency personnel made an effort to revive the child; nevertheless, the infant ultimately needed to be sent to a hospital for treatment. At around 12:30 p.m., one hour later, the infant was pronounced dead, according to the Sheriff’s Office supplementary information.

According to officials from the sheriff’s office, an initial investigation concluded that there was no evidence of illegal activity in the case and claimed that the infant’s death was the result of an accident.

It was not immediately possible to reach a spokeswoman for the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office in order to provide any additional commentary regarding the infant’s passing. (News Source)
