A thief who stole $1 million worth of goods from retail establishments was given a prison sentence

A guy has been sentenced to 3.5 years in an Arizona prison after he was allegedly caught stealing products valued at over $1 million from multiple retail establishments.

Juan Ambriz-Rincon, 40, recently entered a guilty plea to organized retail theft, and the court ordered him to pay $300,000 in restitution.

In a statement, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell stated, “Instead of having a paying job, this criminal made it his full-time job to steal over $1M from retail stores and then re-sell the stolen merchandise.”

As the defendant walked out of stores carrying high-value things without paying for them, surveillance cameras caught him doing so.

Later on, the investigators discovered a Facebook account that was related to the defendant. On that account, the defendant was allegedly advertising vast quantities of Home Depot stuff that was available for purchase.
