Troy Woman Faces Attempted Murder Charges After Early Morning Gunfire

Responding to a 911 call reporting shots fired, Troy Police Patrol Officers arrived just after 7 a.m. Evidence of gunfire was found, but the involved individuals had fled by the time law enforcement arrived, prompting a swift and comprehensive investigation.
As detectives delved into the details, it was revealed that a dispute had erupted between a male and a female known to each other. The female, identified as Krista M. Leverette, allegedly discharged several rounds from a handgun during the altercation.
