Albany resident Myaira Myrick found herself facing serious legal consequences after being arraigned on charges of grand larceny at the North Greenbush Town Court. Her arraignment followed her arrest on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges. Myrick, who was already incarcerated at the Rensselaer County Jail for separate offenses, now faces a slew of charges related to theft and conspiracy.

Law enforcement officials allege that Myrick, along with an accomplice, was involved in a series of thefts from various retail establishments. The incidents include the theft of merchandise from TJ Maxx on multiple occasions.

On June 23, 2023, they purportedly stole items valued at $724.68 from the store. Additionally, on September 3, 2023, Myrick and two others allegedly stole merchandise worth $1,997.95 from the same TJ Maxx location.
