Two Men Arrested on Serious Charges by NY State Police
In a significant development on March 6, the New York State Police (NYSP) apprehended two Albany residents, Garrett Lynch, 34, and James Warner, 32, following an investigation initiated by a cyber tip received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Garrett Lynch, aged 34, now faces charges of promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. The charges arise from an in-depth investigation into Lynch’s alleged involvement in the promotion and possession of child sex abuse images. NYSP, acting on the cyber tip, swiftly responded to uncover and address this distressing criminal activity.

The execution of a search warrant at Lynch and Warner’s shared residence unveiled felony-weight narcotics and various controlled substances in Warner’s area of the house, leading to his immediate arrest. The discovery of narcotics at the residence raises concerns about potential drug-related activities within the community, emphasizing the need for vigilant law enforcement efforts.
The arrests of Lynch and Warner are outcomes of a thorough investigation conducted by the New York State Police, triggered by the cyber tip.
